Well it’s been a while since I’ve written. Had loads of stuff going on with the mag, and Uni work has been crazy hectic.
One of the Uni projects I’ve been working on is this blog for my Interactive Photography unit. It’s been pretty cool, as it’s the first time I’ve really had a go at building a blog from basics, and I’ve spent a crazy amount of time researching CSS and PHP on various blogs and forums. I’ve ended up using a parent theme (Thematic) and from there created a child theme, to which I’m making my own design (read more about it here).
It’s also given plenty of time (and excuses) to sit around for hours looking at other blogs and designs. As I speak, Suzi is quite kindly cooking a lovely dinner while i catch up on stuff. The only downside is the deadline. It has to be handed in completed tomorrow, so I’ve only made fairly basic changes. However, the blog needs to be maintained for the rest of the Unit, so it’ll give me time to carry on making changes and additions, and honing my CSS skills.
That’s about it. Apart from flat hunting. But the less said about that the better (I fucking hate flat hunting).
