I’ve recently been spending a lot of time out and about, mainly in the bar, spending way too much money and killing off my memory. My now (unsurprising) lack of cash, as well as my long time commitment to spend more time at home perfecting my cooking skills has led to me deciding to get together a whole load of ingredients, scour the internet and press for recipes, and start slowing down on the student lifestyle…

As always, Suzi has been there to help me out. It’s not that I’m a bad cook, just that I’m not overly confident in the kitchen. Things like Fajitas, Risotto, Pasta and such like are fine, but put me near flour, raw ingredients and oven gloves and I start to freak. But that is all changing, so hopefully I’ll have a lot more tasty things to add to my fridge in the coming months.

This was the Tart from last night. Red and yellow peppers, Pancetta and Feta cheese, served with salad and New Potatoes, and enough left over to feed me for the next week.
I also still have a shit load of film sitting around waiting to be scanned, and a shit load more waiting to be developed. I’ve been so far behind with things that I’ve not even managed to finish editing all the photo’s from our recent holiday in Egypt. Gutted. I’ll be sending one film off with Suzi to the Happy Snaps in Liverpool Street soon, after Castle Foto in Elephant and Castle decided to uproot to Old Street. We’ll see how they handle one before I send off the 15 others.
